What is A Friend
Friends are never far away
Although they may be miles apart,
It may be months before they speak
But they are always near the heart.
Friends aren't always right next door
Or even in the next town,
They may seldom phone or visit
But you know they are around.
A friend you can count on
Whether you are happy or blue,
A friend seems to know your need
Or give a different point of view,
A friend does not judge
But tries to understand,
Instead of finding fault
Will lend a helping hand.
You have all these qualities
A better friend I could never find,

And for being a friend of mine.
